Top Trails Near Phoenix

Arizona offers some of the most dynamic terrain in the Southwest—and you don’t have to go far to find it. Just beyond the Phoenix metro are trails that will put your INEOS Grenadier to the test.

1. Bulldog Canyon OHV Area – Mesa, AZ

A local favorite with a mix of rocky washes, tight turns, and open desert tracks. Requires a free permit—ideal for drivers who want a taste of technical driving close to town.

2. Box Canyon – Florence, AZ

Wind through towering canyon walls, shallow water crossings, and steep rock sections. A must-do for mid-level off-roaders looking to escape the pavement.

3. Four Peaks Trail – Tonto National Forest

Climb to stunning elevations and panoramic views. Best driven in the fall and spring, this 4x4 trail offers a mix of gravel, mud, and ridge running.

4. Sunflower Mine Trail – North of Fountain Hills

Challenging and remote. Deep ruts, narrow climbs, and rugged switchbacks make this a trail where the Grenadier’s capabilities shine.
